DiversaTech Case Competition
October 2018
2nd place
I had the amazing opportunity to participate in a case competition with Kaautam Suriyan, Manu Prakasam, and Grace Pratt. Our goal was to make Google Cloud Platform, a suite of cloud computing services including computing, data storage, data analytics, and machine learning, more accessible to students. We created a plan to help UC Berkeley students recognize, understand, and master the Google Cloud Platform by leveraging Google Drive UI and Berkeley opportunities. Winning second place was an extremeley rewarding experience and I loved getting to work with this team!
Our first step was to conduct a survey. We surveyed people within our personal networks at UC Berkeley to better understand how we could make the Google Cloud Platform more accessible to more students.
Using our survey, we created user personas. We found that most respondents fell into four major categories: humanities student, researcher, entrepreneur, and technical studnet.
